PLANT THE FOUNDATIONS

Set an objective to work towards.

Practical objective setting is an essential skill for achieving success. Suppose you are being coached or are coaching others. In that case, objective setting should form not only an integral part of your coaching sessions. It should become commonplace in your life. The foundation is the overall objective that you WANT to achieve. It can then be broken down into smaller GOALS to make it manageable.

Do you have a load to do? Would you like to narrow your list down to a few essential items? Would you like to work smarter?

REVIEW AND SUPPORT

who is going to help you achieve the planted foundations.

The Importance of review and support is to make sure that you achieve the objectives you set for yourself and others. Once you’ve got your purpose, you then need to review to make sure that it is what do you want. Once this has been achieved, look for various support that can help you in your quest to fulfil your objective. This could be work colleague’s, family, friends, or team you work with or you as an individual striving for a particular outcome. This part of the programme is essential to make the outlook and goal setting, measurable and for you to get the best results from the programme.

OUTLOOK AND GOAL SETTING

Goal setting for areas surrounding the outcomes. Goal setting is an essential part of all coaching process. The process of goal setting itself is valuable. Goal setting causes you to think about what is essential, the purpose, values, direction, performance, personal satisfaction. We are often too busy to simply think about what we are doing, where we are going and how we’d like to get there. One of the core advantages of coaching is the opportunity to take space and time to reflect on your performance, career, and life, think about your future and plan your next steps.

UNDERSTAND YOUR WORTH

Is about realising your goals and working towards them to become self-reliant and part of a wider community

Knowing Your worth is a sensitive subject. Individuals are often confused as to how to answer the questions of what they are worth? It is easy to detect when you don’t feel valued, respected, or appreciated, but knowing your worth is somewhat different.

But what exactly is knowing your worth? Is it having positive self-esteem? Is it knowing your value and being able to identify all of your positive qualities?

Knowing your worth and self-worth are indistinguishably linked. Self-worth is classified as “the sense of one’s value or worth as a person,” that is one part of it. However, the other aspect is being able to comprehend how much of a distinction you have made in any situation with the impact you have made.

Over a meal I recently, I asked one of my business partners: Do you know your value in this relationship? He primarily said no. When we talked it through, and I stressed several situations where his presence made a significant difference, he could then see his value.

DEVELOPMENT

What does it look like and how does the plan improve.

Look at what you have achieved and reflect on how you can improve the process or tasks you have already accomplished.  Personal development is the continuing act of assessing your life goals and values and developing your skills and qualities to achieve your potential. They can add to your maturity, success, and satisfaction. Many people strengthen their development skills throughout their lives to better themselves and achieve their goals. They can do this via education, advice from a mentor, self-help and more.

Personal development skills are characteristics and capabilities that help you grow both personally and professionally. Awareness and improving these skills can help you maximise your potential. This procedure is also known as self-development or personal growth.
